Join our team as an Environmental Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our environment and promoting sustainable practices. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to develop, implement, and monitor programs that reduce environmental impact and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will help drive our commitment to sustainability and innovation in environmental management.




Job Responsibilities

Conduct environmental assessments and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to promote sustainable practices. Monitor and analyze environmental data to identify trends and potential areas of improvement. Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to environmental impact assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution. Provide guidance and training to staff on environmental best practices and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with government agencies, stakeholders, and community groups on environmental issues and initiatives. Develop and oversee waste management and recycling programs to minimize environmental footprint. Conduct site inspections and investigations to identify environmental hazards and propose corrective actions. Stay updated on emerging environmental regulations and technologies to ensure proactive compliance and innovation. Manage permits and licenses related to environmental operations and activities. Lead initiatives for pollution prevention and resource conservation to support organizational sustainability goals. Support crisis management and emergency response planning related to environmental incidents.






Requirements
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental compliance or management.Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and laws, including EPA standards.Proficiency in conducting environmental assessments and audits. Experience with environmental management systems such as ISO 14001. Ability to analyze and interpret environmental data and reports. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental modeling software.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed. Certification such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) is a plus.
