Our client, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead key initiatives in Boise, Idaho, US . This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from initial feasibility studies and site selection to design, permitting, construction, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of energy technologies (solar, wind, geothermal), excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities: Manage all phases of renewable energy project development and execution, including feasibility assessment, site analysis, permitting, financing, and construction. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, legal, and finance, as well as external stakeholders such as landowners, regulatory bodies, and contractors. Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and management. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies. Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met. Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Facilitate communication among all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status. Oversee the commissioning and handover of completed projects to operations teams. Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Stay abreast of advancements in renewable energy technologies, market trends, and policy developments. Ensure that all projects adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality. Contribute to the strategic planning and business development efforts of the company. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, geothermal). Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, project development processes, and regulatory frameworks. Strong understanding of financial modeling, contract negotiation, and risk management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and relevant technical tools. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, utility companies, and community groups. Ability to travel as needed to project sites.
