The Environment Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and overall health of our Epic ecosystem. This position manages both production and non-production Epic environments, oversees build migrations through Data Courier, and maintains well-governed, high-quality content that supports safe and efficient clinical and operational workflows.

In this role, you will manage Epic EHR environments-including production, test, training, and lower environments-while coordinating build moves and release activities to keep systems aligned and functioning smoothly. You'll collaborate closely with application analysts, technical teams, and operational leaders to support upgrades, introduce new functionality, and drive ongoing optimization across the organization. Your expertise helps ensure that clinicians and staff have the stable, high-performing tools they need to deliver exceptional care.

This is a flex-hybrid role which will require you to be onsite as required by operational need; there are no reimbursements for travel to "home office" location. Each employee must complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager which will outline arrangement parameters and aids both parties in fully understanding expectations. Arrangements are regularly evaluated, and are subject to termination.

Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $128500 - $298,100 annually. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between the 25th percentile and below the midpoint.

This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement within the state of California. The selected candidate must reside within the state of California or be willing to relocate.

Prior experience as an Epic analyst or environment/data courier analyst in a healthcare setting, including hands-on work with Epic environments and migrations. Strong understanding of software change control, testing methodologies, and release management in clinical information systems. Technical aptitude with familiarity in Epic infrastructure concepts and coordination with technical teams (e.g., Citrix, servers, interfaces) is desirable.

As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
