About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Vice President for Underwriting of Commercial Solar Projects to spearhead the underwriting process for solar project loans. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure the safety and soundness of our solar portfolio while being at the forefront of renewable energy financing. You will conduct in-depth credit and financial analyses, manage a skilled underwriting team, and present insightful credit memoranda to the Executive Leadership Team. Your leadership will be pivotal in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring project compliance, and maintaining high-performance standards across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess:
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• At least 7 years of experience in commercial credit analysis and underwriting
• A minimum of 5 years focused on solar or renewable energy transactions
• Strong management skills and a proven track record in commercial solar lending
• Excellent communication skills and travel availability up to 25%
