Description
Acuity Environmental Solutions (AcuityES) offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager in the Indianapolis area. This position is for a qualified individual who wishes to pursue a career with a dynamic, employee-friendly, smaller company that conducts state of the art remediation projects throughout the United States.
The successful candidate…
• Serves as the senior remediation manager of various chlorinated, petroleum and heavy-metal impacted sites;
• Familiar with extraction (water and vapor), sparging, chemical oxidation, chemical reduction, bioremediation and bioaugmentation technologies;
• Handles challenging remediation projects including soil blending, chemical injections, groundwater infiltrations galleries, and permeable reactive barriers;
• Evaluates project sites and determines appropriate remedial alternatives;
• Prepares, manages, and reviews remediation system designs, reports, permits, specifications, work scopes and proposals;
• Is willing to assist in all elements of the project, including field activities when necessary;
• Have knowledge of Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) Technical Requirements for Site Investigations and Remediation;
• Manages, trains and mentors staff regarding remediation and engineering activities; and,
• Interfaces with clients as technical lead on remediation projects.
Requirements
• A Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate level degree in Geology, Engineering or Science;
• Greater than 8 years of environmental engineering/consulting experience is required;
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Licensed Professional Geologist (LPG) are preferred; and,
• A Background Check and a Drug Screening will be required.
