Job Description

The Production Operator position at a Confidential Company in Pakistan involves leading production operations, monitoring plant parameters, conducting maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance. Responsibilities include updating supervisors, performing detailed checks, analyzing production data, and maintaining equipment and supplies. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 4 years of oil and gas experience, and strong problem-solving skills. This is a full-time role.
Position Summary:Performs lead function on all production facilities, production wells and process facilities such as separation, dehydration, gas sweetening, gas compression, stabilization, gas export, condensate storage and loading, produced water disposal, relief and blow-down system, and all fire protection and safety systems adhering to safety rules and regulations at all times to achieve safe, reliable and compliance facility operation.Key Accountabilities:1. Updates SPO/Production Supervisor with ongoing activities and allocates duties and monitors activities of plant labors.2. Conducts detailed plant checks and timely inform to production SPO / supervisor for any upsets, carries out minor plant maintenance jobs, prepare reports and initiate work orders for defective equipment, site preparation, issues and ensure compliance of control of work and permit system.3. Monitors plant parameters, well testing activities, change charts and orifice size, takes 2 & 4 hourly readings and checks on meter skid, F. G. Scrubber, feed separator, inlet / outlet Separator glycol contractor, amine contactor, generators, instrument air compressors, water injection pumps etc. and ensure data is logged timely through mPride.4. Ensures that production targets and product quality specifications are met. Analyzes condensate sample for RVP, API, BS&W, PTB, and determines the volume correction factor.5. Calculates net oil and gas production rates and coordinates with Gas Control to ensure the authenticity of data pass to gas control and verifies all logs, records and reports including previous 24 hours reports, challans, charts and logs. Forwards the relevant documents to the Production Office6. Maintains stock of chemicals, diesel, potable water, first aid items and safety equipment. Conducts periodically visual checks of skim pit, day tank, diesel tank, fire water pond levels and chemical injection rates and records on a daily basis.
