We’re seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and compliance programs at a fast-paced production facility in the Salt Lake City area.

In this role, you’ll be the key driver of our safety culture—balancing hands-on floor presence with strategic program development. You’ll partner with operations leaders to identify risks, strengthen compliance, and ensure every team member goes home safely.

What You’ll Do
• Lead the development and execution of site EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, investigations, and risk assessments, and oversee corrective action implementation.
• Provide EHS training and coaching to employees at all levels, fostering a proactive safety mindset.
• Manage reporting, documentation, and permits to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality to integrate EHS into daily plant activities.
• Champion continuous improvement projects to reduce risk and improve environmental performance.

What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (packaging, plastics, or similar preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state safety/environmental standards.
• Skilled in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Proven leadership, communication, and influencing abilities.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or CIH are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $98,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
