Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
Conduct regular environmental assessments and audits to identify potential areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations and decision making.
Stay updated on the latest environmental regulations and best practices to ensure 3M's continued compliance.
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to represent 3M's environmental efforts.
Lead and participate in environmental impact studies and risk assessments.
Identify and prioritize sustainability initiatives and projects.
Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics.
Conduct training and provide guidance to employees on environmental best practices.
Oversee waste management and pollution control efforts.
Investigate and resolve any environmental incidents or violations.
Manage and maintain environmental permits and records.
Develop and manage environmental budgets.
Communicate and promote 3M's environmental initiatives and accomplishments to both internal and external stakeholders.
