Duties:
• Represent financial institutions, independent power producers (IIPs), developers, and sponsors in renewable energy transactions.
• Manage and expand a portable book of business in the energy sector.
• Collaborate with clients to develop innovative strategies for energy projects and financing.
• Negotiate and draft agreements related to renewable energy initiatives.
• Provide legal counsel on compliance, risk assessment, and regulatory matters in the energy field.
Requirements:
• At least 7+ years of experience in energy and project finance law.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a portable book of business.
• Outstanding interpersonal, analytical, and legal writing skills.
Education:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications:
• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with the ability to gain prompt admission to practice in Wisconsin.
