We are seeking Waste Picking Operatives to join our team in Kent. This role is vital in ensuring efficient waste collection and processing, supporting our mission to promote recycling and environmental sustainability.
• Responsibilities
• carry out waste sorting and ensure proper segregation procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the worksite.
• Assist with loading and unloading waste containers.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in waste management or a similar role.
• Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform heavy lifting if required.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to operate under health and safety management systems.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
• a good level of spoken and written English
