Wintrust Financial Corporation is offering a Summer 2025 Internship in Retail Banking, located in various areas including Chicago and surrounding suburbs. The internship runs from May 20 to August 8, requiring 40 hours per week, and is aimed at college students, preferably juniors or seniors. Interns will engage in customer service tasks and participate in community events, with an hourly pay of $18.00.

Retail Banking Intern Job Responsibilities:
• Operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel in lobby or drive up.
• Recognize potential cross sell opportunities.
• Comply with all department and regulatory policy & procedures.
• Processes mail, night depository, and ATM deposits.
• Uphold Wintrust culture in customer service.
• Open/close branch.
• Participate in community events.

Details:
• The 2025 program will run Tuesday, May 20th - Friday, August 8th.
• 40 hours/week, Paid summer internship.
• Must be available to work (some) Saturdays.
• Positions available in Chicago, Itasca, Glen Ellyn, Barrington, Bloomingdale, Addison, Wheaton, Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, Prospect Heights, Rolling Meadows, Des Plaines, and Park Ridge.
• Participate in intern program activities, events, and development opportunities with your cohort.

Compensation:
• The hourly rate for this role is $18.00/hour.

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a college or university, with preference for students entering their junior or senior year.
• Concentrations in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Leadership, extra-curricular, or volunteering experience skills with a passion for results.
