VENTURE BUILDER FOR CLIMATE-POSITIVE FAMILY OFFICE

A pioneering and impact-driven family office is seeking an exceptional Venture Builder to help transform bold, climate-positive ideas into scalable, revenue-generating businesses. Working closely with two visionary principals, you will be responsible for validating, launching and scaling multiple ventures within an agile, fast-paced environment that combines entrepreneurial energy with measurable environmental impact.

This is a rare opportunity to operate at the intersection of innovation and sustainability, taking early‑stage concepts from zero to one. You will oversee the full venture‑building lifecycle, from ideation and scoping through to MVP development, funding rounds and operational independence, while also assembling and leading talented teams to drive growth.

The successful candidate will bring deep operational experience, entrepreneurial intuition, and the ability to design and execute processes that turn the founder’s visions into traction. You’ll thrive in ambiguity, move quickly from concept to delivery, and take ownership of results while empowering others to perform at their best.

The role offers autonomy, variety and influence: you’ll work directly with two UHNW entrepreneurs who are passionate about environmental innovation and who value initiative, creativity and execution excellence.

This is a full‑time role offering a highly competitive salary, performance bonus, and meaningful equity across select ventures, along with private medical cover, a pension scheme, and generous annual leave. It follows a hybrid structure, with two to three days per week on‑site in London or Oxfordshire and occasional international travel as required.

Duties
• Drive the validation, launch and scaling of multiple new ventures, from initial concept through MVP, pilot and funding stages.
• Build and lead cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment, accountability and high performance across geographies and time zones.
• Create investor materials, financial models and seed budgets to support fundraising activities.
• Establish operational frameworks, OKRs and performance dashboards across the venture portfolio (ClickUp / Notion).
• Negotiate supplier, partner and investor agreements, ensuring commercial rigour and sustainable impact.
• Identify and recruit exceptional talent for emerging ventures, providing ongoing coaching and performance management.
• Collaborate with internal and external specialists (legal, finance, IP, sustainability advisors) to accelerate progress and mitigate risk.
• Apply strategic thinking and hands‑on execution to move ventures efficiently from idea to independence.
• Travel internationally as required for project visits, investor meetings and portfolio off‑sites.

Qualifications & Requirements
• 5–10 years of experience in a venture studio, start‑up COO, or portfolio‑operations role, ideally within an impact‑driven or entrepreneurial setting.
• Proven track record taking at least one concept from idea to funding or first revenue.
• Strong leadership and team‑building skills, with experience managing and motivating distributed teams.
• High financial literacy, comfortable with P&L oversight, budgeting and forecasting.
• Exceptional organisational and execution skills; able to bring clarity and momentum to complex, fast‑moving projects.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder‑management abilities with high emotional intelligence.
• Spanish language skills are considered an advantage.
• Genuine passion for climate, conservation, or sustainability‑focused innovation.
• Comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability in a dynamic environment.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to travel internationally as needed.
