Transportation Planning Manager

We are seeking a visionary and analytical Transportation Planning Manager to join our team in Dubai United Arab this pivotal role you will lead our transportation planning efforts developing innovative solutions to address the citys evolving mobility needs.
• Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive transportation plans for the Dubai metropolitan area
• Lead a team of transportation planners engineers and analysts in executing complex projects
• Collaborate with government agencies stakeholders and community groups to align transportation initiatives with broader urban development goals
• Analyze traffic patterns travel demand and transportation infrastructure using advanced modeling techniques
• Develop and manage project budgets timelines and resources to ensure successful delivery of transportation plans
• Present transportation plans and recommendations to senior leadership government officials and the public
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in transportation planning and incorporate them into local strategies
• Ensure compliance with local and national transportation policies and regulations
• Promote sustainable and efficient transportation solutions that enhance mobility and quality of life for Dubai residents

Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Urban Planning Civil Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
• 12 years of progressive experience in transportation planning with a proven track record of successful project management
• Proficiency in transportation planning software such as TransCAD and Vissim
• Strong skills in GIS software and data analysis tools
• Excellent project management abilities including budget oversight and team leadership
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences
• In-depth knowledge of urban transportation systems traffic flow analysis and sustainable transportation solutions
• Familiarity with transportation policies and regulations in the UAE and international best practices
• Professional certifications such as AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) or PE (Professional Engineer) are highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex transportation challenges
• Experience working in rapidly growing urban environments is a plus
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
