Trade Assistant

Ampcontrol is seeking a Trade Assistant for their Mackay workshop in Erakala, Australia. The role offers a 4 on 3 off roster, competitive pay, and various employee benefits. Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing, strong hand tool skills, and relevant licenses. This full-time position requires residence in Mackay, as it is not a FIFO or DIDO role. This opportunity is best suited to an experienced Trades Assistant or Labourer looking to take on a new challenge. You will work out of our Mackay Mechanical workshop on a full-time basis, while assisting tradespeople on the overhaul, repair and manufacture of underground mining equipment.

What are we looking for from you?

Your willingness to gets hands on in a manufacturing environment will be complemented by the following:
• Experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing Industry
• Strong hand tool and attention to detail skills
• Can do attitude with the ability to work unsupervised
• Current driver's licence
• Forklift licence
• Dogging and Rigging Licence (desirable)
