Futura Energy Group is seeking a Territory Sales Manager in Baton Rouge, LA, to drive B2B sales in the organics recovery sector. The role involves prospecting, engaging decision-makers, and closing deals while collaborating with internal teams. We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join a fast-growing leader in the organics and renewable energy space. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business partnerships that help reduce food waste and organics recovery.
What You’ll **
• Own and grow a defined geographic territory, targeting and acquiring new B2B clients in the organics recovery and food waste space
• Prospect, pitch, and close—working directly with decision-makers (including the C-Suite) across multiple industries
• Engage in enterprise-level, consultative sales cycles from first outreach to signed contract
• Build trust and position our client as the go-to solution for food and organics recycling
• Use tools like Salesforce CRM to track pipeline, sales activity, and performance metrics
• Collaborate internally with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth onboarding
• You’ll Succeed If You *
• 3+ years of proven B2B outside sales experience, ideally with complex or consultative sales
• A strong record of exceeding sales targets and closing deals with senior stakeholders
• A self-starter attitude with serious drive to win and grow your territory
• Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce and an organized, process-driven approach to prospecting and follow-up
• Experience or knowledge in the waste, recycling, hauling, or sustainability sectors (a big plus!)
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for client meetings and industry events
