About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Author to join our team in Dubai. This role is critical in ensuring the creation and continuous improvement of structured, high-quality maintenance documentation to support operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain clear, accurate, and user-friendly maintenance procedures in coordination with various departments and technical authorities.
• Review and enhance existing documentation such as Planned Maintenance Routines (PMRs) and Planned Maintenance Assurance Routines (PMARs).
• Work closely with onshore discipline supervisors and Responsible Persons (RPs) to ensure alignment and accuracy of documentation.
• Collect and analyze technical information from subject matter experts to create comprehensive manuals and maintenance documents.
• Ensure proper documentation is in place for all safety-critical equipment, adhering to established standards and regulations.
• Support the development and documentation of procedures related to the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Required Skills & Competencies
• Proven experience in technical writing or documentation within a maintenance, engineering, or oil & gas environment.
• Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, procedures, and safety-critical processes.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.
• Proficient in the use of CMMS platforms and technical documentation tools.
• Exceptional command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
