Job Description

Teach Queensland is hiring a Teacher for Primary/Secondary Environmental Education at the Amaroo Environmental Education Centre in Western Australia. The role focuses on delivering sustainability and Indigenous education programs for P-12 students and includes professional development for teachers. Applicants must have relevant teaching qualifications and working rights in Australia. This position is not remote and is part-time (0.4 FTE).
Amaroo Environmental Education Centre delivers Environmental Education programs to visiting schools in DDSWR from P-12, with a focus on sustainability, Indigenous perspectives, and health and wellbeing. We value the environment as a teacher for students, and are student focussed. We design, promote and deliver highly effective environmental and Indigenous education programs for schools (P-12) and for the community, including building the capability of schools with professional development for teachers.
