If you're ready to make a measurable impact on the planet and accelerate the circular economy, we want to hear from you.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________The Sustainable Solutions Specialist is responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities with large CPG, food, and industrial customers, driving revenue through environmentally sustainable packaging solutions. This high-impact role is focused on a mix of new business development across assigned geographies (U.S. or EU) and growing existing clients, requiring a proven hunter mentality, strong industry relationships, and a passion for innovation in sustainable materials. This is a strategic, outward-facing sales role requiring strong leadership, collaboration, and an ability to navigate complex customer environmentsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Incumbents routinely perform approximately 80% of the duties below.Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in assigned region, focusing on high-value, sustainability-driven packaging solutionsDevelop and manage a robust pipeline of new prospects with a focus on Fortune 500 food and CPG companiesLead the entire sales process from prospecting and initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and closeDeliver compelling customer presentations that showcase our product innovation, environmental impact, and economic valueCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Legal, and Marketing to align offerings with customer needs and expectationsAct as a sustainability advisor and advocate for customers, offering insight into market trends, regulatory implications, and innovation pathwaysAttend and represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and sustainability forumsProvide ongoing market intelligence and competitor insights to inform internal product and growth strategyPerforms all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by managerRequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsHigh level of personal integrity, resourcefulness, and professionalismAbility to navigate complex decision-making environments and align multiple stakeholdersCompetitive, results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to win and growPassion for sustainability and making a positive environmental impactAbility to multitask Ability to deal effectively with time pressures, stress, and changing demands of job on a regular basis Ability to handle highly confidential business information Minimum Qualifications:Candidates/incumbents Must Meet The Minimum Qualifications As Detailed Below.Bachelor's degree in business (BBA) or bachelor's degree in art (BA), Sustainability, Packaging Engineering, or related field (Master's a plus). 5-10+ years of B2B enterprise-level sales experience, with at least 5 years in packaging, materials science, or sustainability-related productsFluency in English is required. For EU based positions, fluency in another language such as German, Dutch, or French is advantageousProven track record of independently identifying, penetrating, and closing large-scale accounts in the CPG or food industryPrior success selling to global and matrixed organizations in the U.S. and/or EuropeExperience working in or with cross-border teams, ideally across the U.S., EU, and/or LATAM marketsBenefitsWe offer benefits including include health insurance coverage, paid time off and holidays, life and disability insurance, and parental leave.
