Job Description

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Sustainability Consultant in Kansas City, MO, to provide sustainable solutions and implement initiatives to reduce environmental impact. The role requires expertise in sustainability, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include advising clients, researching sustainability practices, monitoring initiatives, and training staff. The position offers a salary of $60K–90K per year and is full-time.

In this role, you’ll use your knowledge and expertise to provide advice and guidance on sustainable solutions for our clients. You’ll also be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing sustainability initiatives that reduce our environmental impact and make us a leader in the industry.To be successful in this role, you’ll need a strong background in sustainability, knowledge of best practices, and the ability to think critically and solve problems. You should also have a desire to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:
Provide advice and guidance on sustainable solutions for clients.
Research, develop, and implement sustainability initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
Think critically and solve problems.
Maintain good communication and interpersonal skills.
Monitor progress and effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
Work with other departments to ensure compliance with sustainability policies.
Generate reports and provide recommendations on sustainability initiatives.
Educate and train staff on sustainability initiatives.
Assist in the development of sustainability strategies.
