Job Description

Palladium is seeking a State CSR Fund Raising Expert in Mumbai, India, to oversee project implementation focused on agribusiness and fundraising through CSR. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, preparing databases for fundraising strategies, organizing meetings, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards. The candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to drive project success and support the economic upliftment of target groups.

Project Overview:

Palladium India is implementing projects with Hon. Balasaheb Thackeray Agribusiness & Rural Transformation Project, SMART where Palladium as Technical Support Agency (TSA) is providing handholding support for PIU- Village Social Transformation Foundation (VSTF) with an objective ‘to support the development of inclusive and competitive agriculture value chains, focusing on smallholder farmers and Agri-entrepreneurs in Maharashtra.

Job Summary:

State CSR Fund Raising Expert will oversee the successful implementation of the project. This role includes promoting agribusiness, fund raising through CSR, supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the efficient execution of project. State CSR Fund Raising Expert will work closely with stakeholders, farmers, and other project team members to ensure that objectives are met on time and within budget.

This role is a client facing role as well as backend support role and the selected candidate shall be expected

to work closely with the client, internal Palladium teams as well as experts onboarded from time to time. The

candidate shall be allotted work related to this project or any other project activity in Palladium. The candidate

is expected to assist Palladium in driving the project ensuring preparation of quality deliverables as well as

assist in day-to-day operations including

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Preparation and updating exhaustive database of potential CSR, Corporates, multilateral and bilateral agencies to make fund raising strategies
• Facilitate in raising Rs. 65.70 Cr of CSR funds for PP & CII subprojects from various corporates
• Facilitate in raising additional Rs. 10.00 Cr of CSR funds for 06 Commodity Stewardship Councils (CSCs) formed under the project.
• Facilitate in organizing meetings, investor meets, workshops of corporates to raise the CSR funds.
• Support in the procurement of works, goods, and services- which includes publishing advertisements, preparation of tender documents and BoQs, technical and financial evaluation, issuing work orders, contract agreements
• Establish a synergy in the activities of ongoing interventions of PIUs having common objectives in order to achieve the overall objectives of empowerment, capacity building & economic upliftment of target groups.
• Facilitate, coordinate and monitor the functioning of the TSA by synchronizing the interface between TSA and the CBOs to obtain important results and also continue the handholding support to the CBOs after the project period
• Support the TSA at the district/block/cluster level for the implementation of activities.
• Conduct overall monitoring of assignments for ensuring adherence to timeline and quality parameters
• Support Project in monitoring of project deliverables, outcomes, and milestones.
• Conduct periodic review of schemes, budgetary outlays, expenditure patterns etc. for all programs/ schemes in Agriculture & allied sector
• Facilitate communication, coordination, and information sharing to enable effective project implementation
• Attend regular meetings with project staff to ensure smooth communication and problem-solving.
• Assist in maintaining records and other documentation required for audit and progress reporting purposes.
• Assist in negotiating with bidders, as and when required, and preparing contract documents, for approval by the concerned authorities.
• Other related activities

Required Qualification
• Minimum 4 years of experience in fund raising
• Post-Graduate in Economics / Finance / MBA/ Rural Development / Social Science / Social Work (MSW) or Equivalent

Language:
• Hindi, English and Marathi
