Solar Service Technician

In this role, you’ll travel between our service markets to keep residential and solar systems running at their best, performing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and helping our customers get the most out of their clean energy investment.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on solar PV systems, including inverters and battery storage.
• Troubleshoot and fix performance and equipment issues.
• Inspect sites and systems to make sure everything meets safety and quality standards.
• Keep clear records of all work and system performance.
• Work closely with our installation team to provide technical support when needed.
• Stay up to date on solar technology and best practices.
• Overnight travel will be expected about 50% of the time.

What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or electrical certifications are a big plus).
• 1–2 years of experience in solar installation or maintenance.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and NEC codes.
• NABCEP certification is a plus but not required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Great communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Construction experience is a bonus.

Physical Requirements
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working on rooftops, in all weather conditions, and at heights.
• Comfortable using ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment.
