We are seeking a talented and motivated Solar PV Project Developer to join their team in Milan, Italy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of solar PV projects, contributing to our mission of expanding renewable energy infrastructure.
Our client is a dynamic and innovative renewable energy company committed to advancing sustainable solutions for a cleaner future. As a leader in the solar energy industry, they specialize in developing, financing, and operating solar photovoltaic (PV) projects globally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct market analysis and identify potential solar PV project opportunities in the Milan region.
• Evaluate the feasibility of projects based on technical, economic, and regulatory factors.
• Moreover, collaborate with stakeholders to secure suitable land for solar PV installations.
• Manage the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local regulations and obtaining necessary approvals
• Develop comprehensive financial models for solar PV projects, including cost estimation, revenue projections, and return on investment analysis.
• Furthermore, work closely with finance and investment teams to secure project financing.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with landowners, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure contracts are aligned with company objectives.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to design efficient and cost-effective solar PV systems.
• In addition, ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Oversee the execution of solar PV projects from development through construction to commissioning.
• Additionally, monitor project timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in solar PV project development, including successful project implementations.
• Furthermore, strong knowledge of the Italian renewable energy market and regulatory environment.
• In addition, familiarity with financial modeling and project finance.
