SCS Engineers is growing and we are looking for a Senior Air Professional for our Midwest Environmental Services Team. This position will support our ongoing industrial air compliance practice. You will provide senior-level review and complete technical work, including permitting, modeling, and compliance reporting for a number of industries. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities from current and new clients, as well as managing projects, developing proposals, project production, and related issues in the Midwest and other National markets as appropriate. You will maintain client relationships and ensure that projects are completed and delivered with the purpose of meeting Clients' business objectives. The work schedule is flexible out of the Overland Park, Kansas office in Kansas City. You can be hybrid or possibly remote or based out of another SCS office if within the region and not commutable to Overland Park. We are energized, growing, and fun to work with.
How You Can Make An Impact
• Air quality permitting and compliance; greenhouse gas emissions compliance; general regulatory compliance; various permitting for projects.
• Technical work may include air modeling, completing calculations, reviewing compliance issues, preparing permitting documentation, reviewing data, regulatory contact and research, and report writing, among other things.
• Oversee, manage, and develop lower-level staff to grow their knowledge and experience.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals by working with clients to understand their business objectives, and to provide solutions that meet clients' expectations and technical needs.
• Although some fieldwork may be necessary at certain times, the emphasis will be significantly on office work.
• Some work-related travel will be necessary but usually limited to a short trips and is largely self-directed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Science required.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant air experience required.
• Knowledge of air quality, GHG, NSPS, NESHAPS rules.
• Knowledge of Title V and NSR permitting.
• Air dispersion modeling is preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License with a driving record in good standing required
Pay Range
USD $75,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
