Job Description
CPB Contractors is seeking a Senior Environment Advisor for the Western Ridge Crusher Project in Perth, WA. The role involves leading environmental delivery, monitoring performance, and developing the Environment team. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Engineering or related fields and experience in environmental management. This position requires a 14 days on, 7 days off, Fly in Fly out roster, indicating it is not remote.

The Project
CPB Contractors, in Alliance partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV) has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Works are commencing now and will go through until mid-2026.
Your Opportunity
As a Senior Environment Advisor you will play a key role in the success of the project by leading the environmental delivery scope, monitoring and reporting on key environmental performance requirements and develop and build capability of the Environment team through Environmental Field Leadership. Our Minimum Requirements For This Role Are
• Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability or other associated discipline
• Experience in working on major projects in environmental management or compliance with exposure to Environmental Performance Requirements
• Experience leading a defined environment scope and interfacing with delivery leaders.
• Strong understanding ISO Standards and Regulatory requirements relating to Environmental
• Auditor qualifications would be viewed as desirable
• Excellent communication and consultation skills with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work on 14 days on, 7 days off, Fly in Fly out roster.
