DNV is seeking a Senior Energy Consultant or Engineer for its Energy Use Services group, responsible for supporting energy efficiency programs across the U.S. Key tasks include developing technical eligibility criteria, reviewing energy savings calculations, and collaborating with stakeholders. Applicants should have 5 years of experience in energy efficiency and a relevant degree. The position can be remote from anywhere in the Continental U.S.
Local Unit & Position Description DNV Energy Use Services (EUS) group is seeking a Senior Energy Consultant or Engineer. As a valued member of our EUS team, you ll be responsible for supporting our portfolio of energy efficiency programs across the United States through implementation, developing and maintaining all qualified product lists, creating technical eligibility criteria, and establishing best practices for the organization as they relate to the deployment of midstream measures. This position can be based out of any DNV office or remote from anywhere in the Continental U.S. What You ll Do Support Senior Engineers with developing product-level technical eligibility criteria for establishing a list of qualified products Reviewing utility Technical Resource Manuals (TRMs) and recommending measure and product specifications Support Business Analysts with technical guidance on efficient products Work with database administers and Business Analysts to develop new processes for storing data and accessing large data files Proactively and effectively establish a rapport with colleagues across programs and functions to implement newly developed best practices and taxonomies within the programs Review and verify technical merits of business customer energy efficiency applications, including calculation of energy savings and verification of equipment specifications Evaluate new technologies through relationships with manufacturers Educate distributors and manufactures about new or existing clean tech programs Subject Matter Expert for both internal and external clients Position Qualifications What is Required 5 years of experience in Energy Efficiency A Bachelor s degree in engineering, a technical discipline, or equivalent.
