Senior - Water Resource Engineer - Transportation

Pennoni is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to support transportation projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The successful candidate will have expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, erosion control, and flood studies.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support bridge replacement and highway improvement projects for clients across Delaware and surrounding states.
• Interact with clients on technical challenges and provide project management support as needed.
• Develop plans, technical reports, and specifications.
• Work on diversified projects with various clients.
Required Attributes:
• P.E. License
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• 5-12 years of experience in water resources engineering
• Expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, floodplain management, stream restoration design, and other related areas
• Familiarity with software tools like Microstation, ArcGIS, HY-8, and HEC-RAS
• Excellent communication and writing skills
Preferred Attributes:
• Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior engineers
• Experience in client interaction and project management
