Our team is expanding and we have an opening for a new sales representative on the team! Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a positive impact on your community? We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Rep to join our team in Central, MA!
Responsibilities:
As a Solar Sales Rep, your primary responsibility will be to engage with residential utility customers in your community. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments on our solar offerings, including community and rooftop solar. You'll be expected to articulate the financial and environmental aspects of the service. You'll educate prospects about:
• the advantages of subscribing to a local community solar farm, emphasizing the environmental benefits and cost savings (renters, small businesses and home owners)
• rooftop solar panels, and help schedule consultations for home owners who seem eligible
You'll have sales targets to meet, and your success will be measured by your ability to convert potential customers into solar subscribers!

Qualifications:
• Sales Experience: Some sales experience preferred, but not required for folks with the right attitude.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Technical Aptitude: An ability to grasp technical concepts related to solar energy and explain them in simple terms to customers.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.

Expected yearly, 1st year pay range: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
