AboitizPower is looking for a dynamic SHE Business Partner Manager to lead the planning, development, and implementation of our health and safety programs!

In this critical role, you will ensure our workforce is ready to safely react to emergencies while managing strict compliance with government health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the mandated Safety Officer for the company, ensuring compliance with health and safety rules and representing AboitizPower with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and manage BU-wide safety and emergency response training programs and initiatives.
• Lead regular and thorough safety audits of workplace structures, machinery, and work practices.
• Audit and maintain the readiness of emergency preparedness drills, fire detection systems, and site medical facilities.
• Ensure continuous compliance with environmental criteria and vital ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 55001, 50001, and 22301).
• Lead, train, and motivate a dedicated safety team, resolving work issues and conducting performance appraisals.

What We’re Looking For:
• Certifications: Must be a Registered Engineer and a DOLE-Accredited Safety Officer.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in a power plant or heavy industry, coupled with at least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Skills: A strong understanding of coal-fired power generation processes, comprehensive knowledge of safety, health, and fire codes, and expert hazard recognition.
