Risk Officer for Environmental, Safety and Health

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) Risk Officer in Idaho Falls, ID. Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is looking for a skilled professional to fill the role of ES&H Risk Officer. In this position, you will be responsible for providing support to the ESH&Q Director by ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating the lab's mission.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
• Identifying and analyzing ESH&Q risks across various departments and identifying mitigation measures.
• Developing and implementing strategies to minimize risks and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborating with teams to develop and implement budgets and perform financial analysis.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and 8-12 years of experience in ESH&Q disciplines. Prior experience in risk management, environmental health and safety, or related fields is preferred.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE L security clearance.
