Job Overview

We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Inspection Technician / Solar Designer to support our growing presence in the Central Pennsylvania region. This role is based out of our Harrisburg, PA office and includes regular travel to regional job sites.

The right candidate will be comfortable using design software, working with light electrical systems, and meeting with inspectors on site. You’ll help bridge the gap between design and installation to ensure our projects are accurate, safe, and up to code.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create residential solar system designs using CAD tools
• Perform site visits to gather measurements and verify layouts
• Conduct light electrical service work as needed
• Meet with local inspectors to coordinate and finalize inspections
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure accurate design execution
• Maintain clear and organized documentation

• Four 10-Hour Days (Mon–Thurs) – 3-day weekends!
• Overtime Pay – 1.5x for hours over 10 per day (tracked via vehicle GPS)

Requirements
• Experience in solar design (CAD or solar-specific platforms like Aurora)
• Working knowledge of residential electrical systems or light service work
• Strong understanding of electrical codes or willingness to learn
• Able to work independently, manage time well, and communicate clearly
• Comfortable with travel throughout Central Pennsylvania
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Required)
