Tesla is looking for a talented Energy System Designer to join our team. As a key member of our PV Design Team Lead, you will be responsible for designing solar photovoltaic systems for residential clients throughout the U.S. using Tesla proprietary software.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to approach challenges with optimism and creative ideas for resolution. They will also be able to work well with others in a collaborative team environment and adapt to constant changes in processes and priorities.

Responsibilities include:
• Designing solar photovoltaic systems for residential clients using Tesla proprietary software
• Developing system designs from photos and survey information of job sites
• Conducting analytic evaluations of available data to plan efficient design proposals
• Managing a large volume of projects while maintaining attention to detail
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide detailed notes of completed designs to other Tesla teams
• Self-learning and constant learning of structural, electrical, and fire codes applicable for solar and energy storage electrical system design
• Compliance with design criteria including structural, electrical, equipment location preferences, and installation parameters for all Tesla products
