Job Description

The National University of Singapore (NUS) CDE invites applications for one (1) Research Engineer position in the area of Sustainable Pavement Materials. The candidate is expected to work in research projects related to the topic funded by the National Research Foundation of Singapore (NRF) and the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA). The candidate will be working with Associate Professor Ong Ghim Ping Raymond from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (https://cde.nus.edu.sg/cee/staff/ong-ghim-ping-raymond/). The candidate will be expected to perform research (laboratory, field and numerical works) on sustainable pavement materials.

Job Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a related area.
• Preferably with relevant experience in sustainable pavement materials.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills and team working skills.
• Has the ability to present research findings in publications and professional meetings professionally (including with agencies and the industry).
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
