Our client, a forward-thinking architectural firm renowned for its commitment to sustainable design and innovation, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join their entirely remote design team. You will play a key role in developing and executing innovative architectural concepts for a variety of projects, with a strong emphasis on environmentally conscious and energy-efficient solutions. This is a remote-first opportunity, allowing you to contribute to impactful projects from anywhere within the US.

Responsibilities: Lead the design process from conceptualization through construction documentation for diverse architectural projects. Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements. Create detailed architectural drawings, models, and renderings using advanced design software. Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and construction teams to ensure project success. Champion sustainable design principles and integrate green building technologies into projects. Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies. Prepare presentations and proposals for potential clients and projects. Oversee the work of junior designers and provide mentorship and guidance. Ensure adherence to building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards. Research and evaluate new materials, technologies, and construction methods. Manage project timelines and budgets in coordination with project managers. Contribute to the firm's knowledge base on sustainable architecture and design best practices. Review shop drawings and submittals during the construction phase. Foster a collaborative and creative design environment within the remote team. Qualifications: Master's degree in Architecture or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on sustainable design principles. Proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape). Strong understanding of sustainable design strategies, LEED certification processes, and green building materials. Excellent design sensibility, creativity, and attention to detail. Proven ability to lead design projects and manage teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly. Experience with all phases of architectural design, from concept to construction administration. NCARB certification and/or professional architectural license (RA) is highly desirable. Familiarity with building codes and construction methods. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote setting.
