Trees are an essential part of our ecosystem, providing oxygen, food, and shelter for countless species. As a Tree Planter, you will play a crucial role in reforesting clearcuts and reclaiming disturbed sites in northern British Columbia and Alberta. You will have the opportunity to work in some of Canada's most breathtaking landscapes, contributing to the restoration of hundreds of thousands of hectares of land.

Working as a Tree Planter requires a unique blend of physical endurance, technical skills, and attention to detail. You will be responsible for planting seedling trees, handling and caring for seedlings, selecting planting locations, inspecting tree quality and spacing, and accurately recording the number of trees planted. Additionally, you will load boxes, move equipment, and assist in setting up or taking down camp infrastructure.

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent physical fitness, be adaptable to dynamic environments, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and maintain a positive attitude. You should also have decision-making skills, map reading skills, and the ability to work well in all weather conditions. Furthermore, you must be willing to live in remote settings and possess sufficient English language skills to perform job duties effectively.
