Maas Energy Works, Inc. is hiring a Project Manager II to oversee complex projects in renewable energy, specifically agricultural waste-to-energy systems. Hours: Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Position Description

Maas Energy Works is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead and oversee complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of project management principles and the ability to independently manage all facets of a project, including engineering and design, financial analysis, scheduling, legal agreements, procurement, budgeting, and stakeholder communication. Responsibilities
• Oversee project design and engineering processes to ensure technical and operational success.
• Develop and manage financial models, budgets, and cost projections to support project viability.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, including supplier agreements, operations and maintenance contracts, easements, leases, and construction agreements.
• Coordinate permitting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage procurement of equipment and materials essential to project execution.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Lead the bidding and request-for-proposal (RFP) processes with vendors and contractors.
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
• Oversee project commissioning and successful handover to operational teams.
• Provide clear and consistent updates to project stakeholders, including owners, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.

Qualifications & Skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Proven experience in managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from concept to completion.
• Expertise in financial analysis and budget management.
• In-depth knowledge of legal agreements and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory standards.
• Experience in equipment procurement and vendor coordination.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ability to lead competitive bidding processes and evaluate proposals effectively.
• Hands-on experience in construction oversight and project commissioning.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders.
• Must be proficient in English.
