Are you a project engineer experienced within large-scale Solar PV projects, looking to join a new team with excellent career progression opportunities?

Do you want to work for a global leader in the Solar PV market - who are moving towards becoming an IPP and are partnered with one of the largest infrastructure investment firms?

The company identify, develop and deliver utility scale Solar PV Projects across the globe. Their portfolios include some of the largest Solar farms across the world - ranging from 5MW to over 100MW, and their pipeline incudes over 20GW of power within the next 5 years.

In this role, your overarching duty would be to ensure Solar PV projects meet EPC and contract requirements, ultimately assisting with effective delivery. From overseeing PV specialists, to providing strategic advice and facilitating communication with partners to optimize project design and adherence to project scope - this is an exciting chance to put your stamp on project delivery across the UK.

This is an ideal role for an experienced Project Engineer with experience in Solar PV looking to help establish and shape a new team covering their UK developments. You will be looking for an influential role with excellent career progression within a globally leading organisation.

The Role:
• Providing technical support to utility-scale Solar PV projects.
• Overseeing PV consultants, defining work scopes, and interpreting technical advice.
• Facilitating collaboration and providing strategic advice to multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Assisting with tender documentation, technical negotiations, and engagement with external stakeholders.
• Staying informed on industry trends, regulations, and technologies, while producing reports and inspecting project sites.

The Candidate:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
• Experience in working on large scale Solar PV Projects.
• Strong knowledge of PV development, construction, and technology - including grid connections, PV design and project management.
• Experience in providing technical project support within Solar PV.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in working on CAPEX and OPEX.
