Energy + Environmental Economics is seeking a Project Accountant II for their Anaheim, CA office. The role involves contract setup, revenue recognition, and billing, requiring expertise in project accounting and familiarity with Deltek Costpoint ERP. The Work

The Project Accountant II is a vital part of E3’s project accounting team, responsible for contract setup, revenue recognition, billing, and supporting assigned project managers. The ideal candidate should have expertise in project accounting and revenue recognition for consulting businesses, with a positive, team-oriented attitude. Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP or similar project accounting systems is preferred. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and the capacity to work independently. A collaborative team player, the Project Accountant will work closely with leadership and staff to ensure smooth operation of the accounting system.

Work Environment

Hybrid and flexible work environment that adapts to changing needs of projects and safety requirements. E3 thrives in a strong collaborative office-based working environment but has also adapted to the safety requirements of our employees. This position will require in office presence 2-3 times a week. Must be able to work for extended hours in front of a computer screen and conduct meetings on the telephone and virtually.
