CS Energy is seeking a Procurement Officer to take on a pivotal, site-based position at Kogan Creek Power Station, where your skills will have a direct impact on operational performance.

This role goes beyond the typical office setting. You’ll serve as the on-site procurement contact, overseeing contracts, optimising procurement processes, and ensuring top-tier supplier performance.

Duties include the below, but are not limited to:
• Act as the primary site contact for all procurement activities at Kogan Creek Power Station.
• Support the planning, sourcing, tendering, and management of contracts, especially recurring services and equipment.
• Ensure procurement outcomes align with operational business needs at Kogan Creek and across CS Energy’s operational assets.
• Drive continuous improvement and deliver competitive advantage through strategic contract and category management.
• Represent CS Energy at local industry forums and events.

Collaborate with the Procurement Specialist – Kogan Creek to:
• Capture all recurring plant maintenance business needs into procurement arrangements.
• Streamline the quote-to-order process for efficiency.
• Monitor and optimise supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement systems and records.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
• Certificate, advanced diploma, associate degree, or equivalent practical experience in a commercial discipline (e.g. Procurement, supply chain, Business, Commerce, Finance).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement and contract management within the heavy industry sector, ideally involving service level agreements and consultant oversight.
• Proven track record in high-profile procurement environments, using modern tools and best-practice contract management techniques.
• Strong working knowledge of Queensland Government procurement frameworks, relevant Australian standards, and enterprise systems such as SAP and TRIM.
• High level interpersonal skills with a strong proven ability to achieve in a team environment.
