We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to join our Property Management team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices while maintaining quality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the property management, real estate, or construction industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• MDA Property Management System Experience essential
• Familiarity with property-related procurement (e.g., building maintenance, utilities, and service contracts).

DUTIES
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Oversee the procurement of building maintenance services, office supplies, utilities, and other property-related goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and procurement best practices.
• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any supplier issues or discrepancies.
• Work closely with Property Managers, Facilities teams, and Finance to optimize procurement processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and assess cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, pricing, and supplier agreements.
• Stay updated on market trends and pricing to ensure the best value for the company.
