Job Description

Check Point Software is seeking a Procurement Business Partner in Israel to lead purchasing projects, negotiate contracts, and analyze market trends. Check Point is looking for an experienced Purchasing Procurement Business Partner to join our team and be responsible for leading complexed purchasing projects from end to end, negotiate contracts, pricing models, trend analysis, scan market opportunities and challenges to harness critical inputs into a business decision that will impact Check Point’s core operations.

Major Responsibilities

In your day to day, you’ll do the following:
• Manage vendor relationships, maintain price lists, negotiate deals and complete purchasing projects in various areas such as cost reduction and process improvements
• Support corporate needs and keep Check Point’s best interest (terms improvement for standard and ad-hoc activities)
• Review, edit and create together with internal stakeholder contracts for different business units to prevent commercial exposure and work with preferred terms
• Apply a cross company cost reduction initiatives
• Work in collaboration with Business Analysis, HR, Legal, Product, Treasury and many other internal departments
• Be the owner and focal point for every commercial related aspect, starting from which currency to pay and to building workflows to allow optimal Purchasing processes

Desired Background
• 2-5 years of experience in procurement fields in a global company
• Experience in negotiations and complex contracts, preferably in English
• Experience in project management and an agile approach
• B.A/LL.B - a must (preferably in Economics, Accounting, Law or Business)
• Analytical skills (high knowledge in Excel is a must)
• Work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English
• Accurate and detail-oriented
• Team player & fast learner
• ERP knowledge (preferable SAP) – an advantage
