Job Description

PepsiCo is hiring a Packaging Machine Operator for their Forrestfield, WA site. This permanent full-time role involves ensuring packing equipment operates efficiently, conducting quality control, and maintaining product standards. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Quaker Oats team as a Packaging Machine Operator at our Forrestfield site.

Details:
• Location: Forrestfield (WA)
• Rotating roster (6am – 2pm), (2pm - 10pm), (10pm – 6am)
• Monday to Friday
• Position: Permanent Full Time
• Selection Process: Phone Conversation - Interview - Online Testing - Background and Pre-Employment Medical Checks - Decision

Responsibilities

In this role you will:
• Ensure all packing equipment functions smoothly and efficiently
• Conduct regular quality control checks, verifying that labelling and printing meet all requirements. Follow escalation procedures when necessary
• Ensure that bags are correctly filled, sealed, and that the finished product meets all specifications
• Complete all necessary documentation clearly and fully, ensuring accuracy and legibility
• Report any equipment faults promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operations
• Accurately scan barcodes to track products and ensure proper inventory management
• Actively work to achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Identify and resolve basic machine faults to maintain production flow
• Uphold high standards in safety, quality, productivity, and reliability
• Collaborate with the Quality, Rolling, Milling, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations

Qualifications

About you:
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Forklift operator licence (or willing to obtain)
