Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Solar PV industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Solar Systems Design. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our innovative solutions, with a focus on solar energy applications. The role will involve working closely with our design, product development, product management, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop applications for solar energy systems providing PV mounting solutions for commercial and residential scale projects.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solar energy solutions.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of application development, from concept and design to testing and implementation.
• Evaluate the performance of solar PV mounting systems and make recommendations for improvements..
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical expertise and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all designs and implementations.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Applications Engineer in the Solar PV industry.
• Proven experience with Photovoltaic (PV) mounting system design.
• Expertise designing in one more more Solar Design Application software.
• Leadership skills will be a huge plus or the strong desire to become a leader within the organization.
