Mainstream Renewable Power is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer for the APAC region, based in Manila, Philippines. The role involves managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, vendor communication, and financial reconciliations across several countries. Candidates should have a finance-related degree, 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, and proficiency in finance systems. This position supports the company's mission towards renewable energy and requires strong organizational skills.

Summary of Role:

Candidate will be the primary point of contact for managing all Account Payable related activities in Region APAC (Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, Philippines and Indonesia) This includes managing the end to end governance requirement and execution of payment.

What You Will Do:

Core Function
• End-to-end Accounts Payable governance and execution of account payables function. It covers fr om vendor set up through invoice scanning, recording, invoice workflow on SharePoint for PM approval, invoice verification & matching, payment proposal & fund transfer processing. Set up payment including preparing documents required by the bank.
• Processing of monthly expense and credit card claims for internal employees of Mainstream.
• Key contact person for clarification with vendors with regards to invoices and payments. This includes collaboration with personnel within the region.
• Reconciliations of vendor statements and other recurring tasks
• Update local Accounts Payable process documents and manuals as required
• Reconciliation of Account Payable and Month end bank reconciliation.
• Execution of month end closing for Account Payable section.
• Perform Intercompany reconciliation
• Provide support for new finance system upgrade, assisting other team members working directly on the implementation

Other Support Scope
• Support respective finance personnel in the country for annual audit process.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of internal controls, processes, and financial systems, ensuring Mainstream global processes and controls are adhered to, in particularly the invoicing to payment process.
• Close collaboration with key stakeholders i.e. Finance personnel, Project Managers in producing required account payable related information.

Current Countries within the scope
• Vietnam, Philippines, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore. As Mainstream is further developing, list of countries may grow with new markets in APAC region.

What We Require:
• Bachelor degree preferably Finance related or Accountancy
• Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Specialist (3-5 years) and Treasury
• Strong understanding of Finance systems and processes
• Basic tax knowledge
• Proficiency in English communication and writing
• Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Highly organized and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills, multi-task and ability to meet deadlines
• Dynamics365 experience an advantage
• Experience in other countries is a plus
• Can-do attitude and high team-work spirit
