Max Solutions Canada is seeking a Marketing, Sustainability & ESG Manager to lead corporate marketing and communications while executing sustainability and ESG initiatives. The role involves managing external communications, social media presence, and supporting sustainability reporting in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience, particularly in marketing and sustainability within industrial settings. The position is based in Ontario, Canada.

We are seeking a Marketing, Sustainability & ESG Manager to lead the company’s corporate marketing and communications function while also supporting and executing sustainability and ESG initiatives. This role is responsible for managing how the company presents itself externally through corporate marketing, communications, and LinkedIn, while supporting sustainability reporting, customer sustainability requirements, and ESG initiatives across the organization.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can independently manage corporate marketing and communications, develop external messaging and content, support customer sustainability inquiries, and work with operational teams to support ESG data and initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Marketing, Communications & Brand
• Own and lead the company’s corporate marketing and communications function.
• Develop and manage corporate and marketing content, including: website content and updates, corporate messaging and external communications, customer-facing marketing materials and sales support content, corporate announcements and external positioning
• Own and manage the company’s social media presence, including content strategy, drafting, posting, and cadence.
• Develop sustainability and corporate narratives to support customer presentations, RFPs, and business development efforts.
• Ensure all external communications are accurate, credible, and aligned with the company’s brand, operational capabilities, and customer expectations.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, messaging, and materials related to corporate positioning, sustainability, and business initiatives.
• Support employer branding, internal communications, and key corporate announcements as needed.

Sustainability & ESG
• Support execution of the company’s sustainability and ESG initiatives across manufacturing sites.
• Collect, analyze, and manage sustainability data (e.g., carbon, waste, recycling, energy, certifications).
• Support customer sustainability questionnaires, audits, and scorecards.
• Work closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to support ESG reporting and sustainability initiatives.
• Support and maintain relevant certifications and customer sustainability requirements.
• Monitor emerging sustainability and ESG regulations and customer expectations relevant to packaging manufacturing.
• Support development of sustainability goals, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
• 5–10 years of experience in marketing, communications, sustainability, ESG, CSR, or a related field.
• Strong experience managing corporate marketing, communications, and external messaging.
• Experience managing LinkedIn or corporate social media for a company or brand.
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial environments strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting sustainability initiatives or customer sustainability requirements is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate operational and technical information into clear messaging.
• Comfortable owning a standalone marketing and communications function.
• Experience building structure, content, and consistency in a developing or lean environment.
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to both plan and execute.
• Must be able to work effectively in an office environment and collaborate across a diverse workforce.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
• Strong teamwork, results orientation, and service-oriented mindset.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
