Serigraph is hiring a Machine Repair Technician for a 1st shift position in West Bend, WI. The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting manufacturing improvements. Ideal candidates will have experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, machine tools, and preferably offset printing presses. A high school diploma and two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting are required.

Do you have a strong mechanical background and a knack for electrical troubleshooting?

Serigraph is looking for a Machine Repair Technician to ensure our production equipment runs efficiently and reliably. In this role, you’ll diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support continuous manufacturing improvements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, machine tools, and mechanical assemblies. Experience with offset printing presses is highly preferred. If you’re ready to bring your technical skills to a dynamic, growth-focused company, we’d love to meet you.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities -
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems including power distribution, solid-state controllers, press schematics, and safety installations.
• Conduct mechanical repairs on HVAC dampers/linkages, gear reducers, bearings, pulleys, belts, sprockets, and clutches.
• Time and calibrate feeders and presses; address all mechanical breakdowns on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems on screen presses, offset presses, die cutters, lift tables, pallet trucks, and power cutters.
• Install, maintain, and repair pneumatic systems on screen presses, offset presses, and die cut machines.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems, including burner controls, blower motors, and related components.
• Prepare estimates for repair jobs including time, parts required, and costs.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks per standardized charts and schedules.
• Move and install equipment as operational needs evolve.
• Communicate effectively with previous and next shifts to ensure continuity.
• Adhere to environmental protocols for material handling and disposal.
• Support and use the Serigraph ERP system and SPECS quality business system.
• Ensure quality and stop production to correct quality concerns. Inform management of products and/or processes that do not conform to requirements.
• Ensure all environmental practices and materials are handled and disposed of per appropriate procedures in your area.
• Support Serigraph current quality business system and understand use of the ERP system and SPECS, the Serigraph quality manual.

What we are looking for in a Maintenance Technician -
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of good departmental and company safety/housekeeping/PPE practices.
• Understand departmental procedures and policies.
• Two or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
