Location

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw,
GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta
Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Department Information

The Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology
fosters a dynamic and collaborative academic community where

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for
nine-month, full-time, non-tenure track Limited Term Instructor of
Ecology and Environmental Science faculty positions in the
Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology with a
preferred start date of August 2025. These positions are for work
to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities
• Teaching undergraduate courses such as Ecology and Ecology Labs
(BIOL 3370 and BIOL 3370L), Environmental Science (ENVS 2202K),
Science Society and the Environment (SCI 1101, SCI 1102), the
Culture of Science and Math (SCM 2000) and other undergraduate
courses in the area of ecology and environmental science as
needed.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC
Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications
• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in
Biology or Environmental Science or a closely related discipline is
required.

OR
• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a
non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the
teaching discipline is required.

Preferred Qualifications
• A record of teaching at the university or college level
• A record of teaching ecology, environmental science, or related
areas
• Willingness to teach face-to-face, on-line or hybrid
modalities
