Land Planner / Project Manager – Long Range Planning

We are seeking a skilled Land Planner/Project Manager with extensive experience in planning and policy to lead project management for municipal planning and urban design projects throughout California.

This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the nation's most respected mid-sized firms, known for its wealth of project efforts and long-term job stability.

As a key member of our team, you will oversee and manage various projects, including general plans, area plans, zoning code, and other policy and regulatory documents.

You will possess in-depth knowledge within one or more planning specialties (Long Range Planning, Policy/Advocacy, or planning-related code development, etc.) and have the ability to develop creative solutions to project issues.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience and a bachelor's degree or advanced degrees in land use, urban, regional, or city planning, landscape architecture, geography, or related field.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Coordinating with multi-disciplinary personnel and sub-consultants
• Developing plans for land utilization and physical facilities of cities, counties, and metropolitan areas
• Preparing and authoring various aspects of land use planning documents
• Providing client engagement and personnel management/mentorship
