Freddie Mac is seeking an Investment & Capital Markets Operations Associate in McLean, VA. The role involves providing operational support to trading desks, analyzing trade economics, processing settlements, and preparing reports. Position Overview:

Our Impact:
• Provides direct operational support to various Trading desks/Portfolio managers and works in tandem with the Liquidity goals of the firm
• Accurately and efficiently analyze trade economics, process trade settlements, prepare reconciliations and reports, all while mitigating risk to the firm
• Engaged in new projects in support of Freddie Mac's 2025 goals

Your Impact:
• Will provide daily trade support to various portfolio managers while addressing issues as they arise
• Accurately confirm trade economics with broker-dealer community while actively monitoring trade settlements at multiple custodial banks
• Will prepare and reconcile daily securities & cash reports while maintaining the ability to identify potential settlement discrepancies, all without adverse impacts to Freddie Mac
• Participate in various types of system improvement testing internally and externally
• Communicates efficiently with a high degree of professionalism both written and orally and will speak with various internal and external business partners
• Will work closely with the Business Continuity team

Qualifications:
• College Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment, school or past employment
• Meticulous attention to detail is very important
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and technical skills or macro experience preferred
• Effective written and oral communication skills

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $58,000 - $88,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
