Job Description

Emirates Nature-WWF is offering a Recruitment Internship in Dubai, UAE, for motivated individuals interested in HR. Interns will assist with candidate screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and recruitment documentation. Responsibilities include maintaining databases, supporting job postings, and improving recruitment processes. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in HR or related fields, with strong organizational and communication skills. Fluency in English is required, and Arabic is a plus.
Internship – Recruitment

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Intern to assist our HR team in various aspects of the recruitment process. The intern will gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition, candidate management, and the development of recruitment-related processes. This role is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in human resources and recruitment.

Major Duties and Key Responsibilities
• Assist in screening resumes to identify suitable candidates based on job requirements.
• Schedule interviews and manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
• Conduct reference checks for shortlisted candidates.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of Recruitment Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Organize and maintain a paper trail for employee requisition forms and other recruitment-related documents.
• Maintain and update recruitment databases and trackers.
• Support the team in creating job descriptions, job postings, and other recruitment materials.
• Review existing job descriptions and follow up with teams for updates or revisions.
• Participate in candidate interviews to observe and assist as needed.
• Revamp and enhance the candidate evaluation sheet for improved decision-making.
• Research and prepare interview questions tailored to different positions.
• Review the onboarding process, including communication materials and related documentation, and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with the HR team to improve and streamline recruitment workflows.
• Provide administrative support for recruitment events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
• Undertake additional tasks as needed within the recruitment domain.

Required Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (preferred but not required).
• Fluent in English is a must, fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
• High level of cultural sensitivity and awareness with ability to work in a multi-cultural setting.
• Proven knowledge and/or experience in the non-for-profit sector, preferably of environmental non-government organizations.

• Strong communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
