About the position

The ITS Project Manager at Western Kentucky University (WKU) serves as the primary contact and coordinator for Information Technology projects, particularly those related to construction and renovation. This role is essential for ensuring that IT aspects of university projects are effectively managed and aligned with stakeholder needs. The position involves tracking project progress, facilitating communication among various groups, and providing oversight and documentation for projects.

Responsibilities
• Schedule and meet with project stakeholders to develop a project plan.

• Track project progress and ensure projects remain on schedule.

• Facilitate communication among relevant ITS groups.
,
• Provide project oversight and documentation, including financials.
,
• Communicate project status with stakeholders and ITS management.

• Coordinate with WKU and non-WKU construction-related personnel to advocate for WKU-ITS and client/occupant technology needs.

• Work with ITS administration to identify areas and/or personnel to be assigned to projects.

• Provide training for the use of and oversight for change management of ITS' PPM software.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.

• Ability to perform duties with professionalism, integrity, accountability, and customer service.
